Jared has banned me for posting anything without him proofreading it. Well he is asleep. In otherwords, I have to make this one short, so I don't make to many mistakes. Saturday was a great day. My girl pals took me to the nail salon, to dinner, and one to the movies to celebrate my birthday. It is so refreshing to have that time out. I'm so lucky that Jared is always willing to take on Leylan by himself. Some Dads wouldn't dare or would complain the whole time. So thanks Hubby. The girls let me know I need to call them more often. We sat at the dinner table looking through old photos on our phones. I think that it shocked all of us how much we have changed in the past few years. There were six of us. One friend no one really talks with anymore. I still do from time to time. Two girls haven got married and bought homes. One girl bought a second home and is hoping for a family. One girl has a longterm boyfriend and works all the time. I'm the only one that has a baby. When sitting back remembering the past it really makes you realize life is so precious and changes so fast. We should really appreciate and cherish the times we have together. I know I don't keep in touch as much as I should, but if I know if need them they are there. Well, I need and love each of you and thanks for such a special day.
Life hasn't stopped just my laptop
Well I am up and running again. If you didn't already know we had a laptop that was one of the first ones ever made...jk It sure did seem like it though. Then lightning decided to hit a tree in our front yard and run through the ground into the house. Short story is we are having to replace several things inside and make repairs outside as well. We took advantage of the tax free weekend and got a new laptop...finally. I want to put up new pictures, but there are way too many to go through tonight. Jared told me I can't stay on this thing all night.
My life sure has had plenty of ups and downs since I've blogged recently. Leylan is talking, walking, and biting. He started walking at fourteen months (12 months adjusted age). Back to the biting thing, what a joy it is to have a kid with about 12teeth bite you. This is part of his attitude he pitches. He thinks that my shoulder is his method of releasing his anger. I need some smart mommy ideas on how to get this kid to stop biting. We have tried the saying no and stopping him. Then Jared forced me to start smacking his little hand. The last resort was to bite him back. Jared has done this a few times. I tried it and all it did was break his heart. I am definitely hoping this is just because of the teething. I'm hoping he doesn't follow Ashley's footsteps and use this as self defense all through childhood. She was a mean biter.
I have a head of things that I need to get out. However, I always have to edit myself in hopes not to offend someone. So my brain is not in editing mode tonight, so I will stop until I have more brain power left in the day. Don't worry updated pictures will be coming soon. I would also like to say thanks to the people that care enough to read this little blog. I didn't really realize the amount of people that did until I stopped doing it and everyone was asking me about it. So Thanks for making me feel cared for.
